Dating Strategies

This weekend I spent a few hours talking to my sister Erin, my only sister of dating age not to be seriously dating anyone. She broke up with her ex-boyfriend four or five months ago and has since been spending time with different guys. She shared with me her current dating strategy. A guy cannot be deemed datable until she experiences the guy when he has had a lot to drink. She evaluates their "drunk personalities" before she approves a guy for dating. Her theory is that she can only date a social drunk as she herself is highly social when drinking. Her previous dating interest "cute guy from math class" was discarded when his drunk personality didn't measure up; he was a silly drunk. According to Erin, she couldn't have a guy that would embarrass her when they were out for the night. I've had friends who have preliminary dating questions like "Are you Catholic?" or "Are you allergic to cats?" but this is the first drunk evaluation I have heard put into action. But then again, my sister Erin is a trend-setter.
